THE HAGUE, May 27 (Xinhua) -- Louis van Gaal has won everything possible during his career as club coach, but by qualifying for the FIFA World Cup the Dutchman fulfilled his final dream.
After a mediocre playing career Louis van Gaal started his coaching career at Ajax in 1991. It was the start of a career of one of the best coaches in the history of Dutch football.
Under his charge Domata Peko Jersey , Ajax won three Eredivisie titles, the UEFA Cup in 1992 and as absolute highlights the Champions League and the Intercontinental Cup in 1995.
By winning these major trophies Ajax returned to the top of European football with a generation of young talented home-grown players. The style of play was in line with the history of the club, attacking football in a 4-3-3 formation.
Van Gaal also took Ajax to the Champions League final in 1996, losing to Juventus on penalties. In 1997 Van Gaal moved to FC Barcelona, with which he won two Spanish league titles.
Van Gaal started his first spell at the Dutch national team coach in 2000 Ronald Leary Jersey , going for success with some players he already worked with at Ajax. The adventure became a giant fiasco, with the Dutch failing to qualify for the 2002 World Cup.
Another brief spell at Barcelona followed, before Van Gaal led AZ Alkmaar to a Dutch league title in 2009 and was appointed as new coach of Bayern Munich that same year. In his first season at Bayern Van Gaal won the German double and also reached the final of the Champions League. Despite that success he was fired one year later.
Van Gaal returned as head coach of the Netherlands in 2012, and finally got the opportunity to be active at the World Cup.""This is the challenge I was waiting for,"" he told during his presentation.
In an interview with Xinhua last year Van Gaal admitted to have learned from his previous experience at the Dutch team.
""My policy was in the first place that players must be fit Menelik Watson Jersey ,"" he explained. ""And if they want to be fit, they have to play a lot. The second important principle is that they do not have my confidence. The form of the day matters. Ten years I had given my trust to them and those players betrayed that trust.""

Van Gaal chose many players from the Dutch Eredivisie in the past two years and the results were good, with nine wins and one draw in the World Cup qualifying campaign.
After the World Cup Van Gaal quits at 'Oranje', because he did not enjoy all of his job as national team coach. ""After that my goal is actually more to become coach of a club in the Premier League than to coach another country,"" he said.
